Featured is a gracefully aged 19th Century Antique Chippendale Style Leather Top Burl Partners Writing Desk. The moulded top of rectangular form fitted with red gilt embossed tooled leather writing skiver surface, raised over frieze with three drawers with beautifully carved blind fretwork decorative detail and ornate brass swan neck handles. Supported on very fine cabriole leg with scrolling acanthus leaf motif on knee, terminating on claw and ball foot. The rear of the frieze has three functional drawers which enables this piece to be placed in a central position in a room if one so chooses.
