* Suite of six chairs of solid wood construction
* Gently curved crest rails adorned with a linear Greek key inlay at both ends
* Chair backs are composed in an X-form splat configuration and centered with a circular rosette medallion at the crossing point
* Rear stiles descend into softly tapered legs, while the front legs have a slightly curved shape and terminate in squared feet
* Seats have been professionally reupholstered at a previous time in a coral-toned damask fabric with a tonal gold pattern
* Underside details include a John Stuart, Inc brass plaque affixed to the frame and a renovation/upholstery tag from Art Upholstery Shop
* Good overall vintage condition and structurally sound, with visible light surface wear consistent with age and use. Light evidence of minor scuffs and finish wear along the edges and legs, along with small finish nick visible along top edge of one crest rail (see photos). Greek inlay visually intact with minor surface wear consistent with age. Minor finish wear along legs and small abrasions noted at lower portions and feet, consistent with floor contact and normal use. Fabric is generally clean and vibrant with some light spotting and minor marks visible on select seats (see photos), along with tonal variations in the damask. Fabric remains taught and well-fitted overall.
