This Pair of Mid-Century Maison Jansen Style French Neoclassical Gilt Metal Side Tables with Smoked Glass and Cane Shelves are elegant and formal pieces that will add sophistication to any chic space, whether used as end tables, cocktail tables, or even bedside tables.
Constructed with gilt (hand-gilded) metal frames accented by acorn finials
Feature smoked glass tops, subtly tinted, with the lower tiers fitted with an inset woven cane panel framed in walnut
Fluted columnar legs that terminate in classic toupie feet
Cross-banded molding frames
Very good vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear consistent with use and age. Gilt has some scattered oxidation and fine marks, while smoked glass has only minor scratches.
