Very good vintage condition. This matched pair has been exceptionally well preserved, retaining its original finish with richly figured burl wood veneers that exhibit excellent color, depth, and chatoyance. The brass and bronze mounts, including the Egyptian Revival bust capitals, urn appliqués, beaded moldings, and sabots, display an attractive, naturally aged patina that enhances their character. The tables are structurally sound, sturdy, and level. Light surface wear, faint finish rubs, and minor signs of age and use are present, consistent with careful ownership and expected for vintage examples. No significant veneer losses, structural repairs, or notable damage were observed. Overall, they present beautifully and are ready for immediate placement in a refined interior.
