Description
The Set of Five Art Nouveau Dining Chairs is a wonderful and unusual treasure from the 20-century furniture design era. Each caned chair features a hand-carved backrest and a top rail embellished with an intricate design of cascading grape clusters, leaves, and curling vines. The chairs each have a center splat formed in a graceful T-form that acts as a visual anchor, while the seats are made of finely woven cane and framed by smooth wooden borders that effortlessly transition into charmingly curved chair legs with fluted carvings. These chairs are versatile and can be utilized around a period dining table, as accent chairs in a sitting room, or as independent pieces in a gallery setting. They are also versatile enough to tastefully complement a wide range of décor styles, from traditional to contemporary.
