Description

This Early 20th Century Queen Anne-Style Red Leather Writing Desk is both elegant and functional. Made of solid mahogany, the desk’s overall rich color with a mellow patina and crowning feature of a lush red leather writing surface lend gravitas to its presence, especially with tooled gilded ornamentation along the desk’s border. The Queen Anne-style cabriole legs have elaborately carved shell designs at the knees, and they end in rounded pad feet. This desk features five dovetailed drawers with exquisite cast brass handles, with the middle drawer being particularly expansive. The desk also has a scalloped apron that gives a subtle curve to its silhouette helping it look amazing in any sophisticated study, library, or executive office.
